My relationship with my own body was not always as positive as it is today. I struggled for years with chronic, debilitating low back pain and terrible migraine headaches - afraid of my own body; the pain it caused me and afraid that I would never find a way out of pain.
On the road to healing, I met a lot of brilliant teachers, and learned one very powerful lesson: MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE.
I know this is true from my own experience - because I finally freed myself from the grip of pain using a simple, but potent combination of movement and self-massage techniques. Intelligent movement is a skill that can be taught - and that's where I might be able to help you!
If you'd like to live more happily and healthfully in your body, to feel yourself fully and free yourself from movement habits that cause pain, I would love to assist you.
I teach private clients, and lead regular, weekly classes and teacher trainings across Canada and beyond in Yoga, Yoga Tune Up® and The Roll Model® Method.
I also have degrees in Philosophy, Peace & Conflict Studies and am currently working towards a Kinesiology degree.
